Abstract

A

Al-Quran is indeed a remarkable miracle given to the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w). The Quran was incrementally revealed over twenty-three years. The sahabah started to memorize and write down the Wahy on palm stalks and other external aids to mark the preludes to the codification and preservation of the Quran. Today, the development contributes to helping the students in educational institutions to memorize the Quran regardless of any educational background. To date, there are many talented huffaz able to memorize the Surah, however, they are incapable to memorize the whole Quran. Hence, this study aims to suggest several methods for memorization and repetition of memorization.  The memorization technique requires high commitment, continuous effort and enormous responsibility especially involving the process of memorizing the Quran memorization by students. This study employs literature analysis based on previous researches which are written in academic researches and journals. The findings of this study will guide the huffaz to maintain al-Quran memorization.
