KEPERLUAN MODEL PENGAJARAN ILMU TAWJIH AL-QIRAAT DI INSTITUSI PENGAJIAN QIRAAT MALAYSIA: SATU SOROTAN AWAL

Teachers play an important role in imparting knowledge of tawjih al-qiraat in the teaching of qiraat in qiraat learning institutions (IPT) Malaysia. In addition to mastering the knowledge of tawjih al-qiraat, teachers also need to know the techniques and methods in conveying this knowledge so that the significance of teaching can be achieved according to the proposed objectives. However, the highlights of the study show that tawjih al-qiraat instructors are less able to implement techniques and methods during the implementation of the teaching of tawijh al-qiraat at IPT due to the lack of a specific teaching framework for this subject. Indeed, this study was carried out to identify the need for developing a framework for teaching the knowledge of tawjih al-qiraat in Malaysian IPT. The design of this study is a survey study through a qualitative approach by interviewing three teachers who are involved in the teaching of tawjih al-qiraat at Malaysian IPT. The interview data was transcribed and analyzed using Nvivo 12 software and organized based on the formation of categories and themes. The findings of the study show that there is a need to develop a teaching model of tawjih al-qiraat in Malaysian IPT so that the implementation process of teaching tawjih al-qiraat can be implemented in the best possible way. It is hoped that this study will be a pioneer for studies related to the teaching of tawjih al-qiraat in Malaysian qiraat institutions in the future.
