Metode Mā Fihi Qirā’atan Menurut Al-Ḍabbā' Dalam Samīr Al-Ṭālibīn

Abstract

Knowledge of the method of writing the al-Quran known as al-Rasm al-Uthmāni is an important element in the study of al-Quran. One of the methods of Al-Rasm Al-Uthmāni is Mā Fīhi Qirā’atān which is that certain words of the Al- Quran are not synchronized in his writings in all Mashaf al-Uthmāni due to the factor of addition and deletion of letters. The objective of this study is to analysis the method of Mā Fihi Qirā’atān according to the imam al-Ḍabbā^c in his manuscript known as Samīr al-Ṭālibīn. This study is based on a qualitative study that focuses on the words mā fIhi qirā’atān recorded in the by imam al-Ḍabbāc'in Samīr al-Ṭālibīn as the subject of study. Mā fīhi qirā’ātan which is the focus of this study is in the category of Mā Warada ^cAla Wajh al-Ta^cyīn. This study found that there were 48 words in this category. The distribution of 48 words is found in 27 surahs of the al- Quran, equivalent to 0.062% of the total number of words of the Quran which is 7727 words. The study also found that imam al-Ḍabbā^c has listed two rasm of qiraat shādhdhah and two rasm that have been harmonized in all Maṣāhif Uthmāniyyah. Continuing from these findings, further studies are needed to study the meaning resulting from the differences in the writing of this method which in turn helps in understanding and disseminating the meaning of the verses of the al-Quran.
